K, this post has nothing to do with computers.

I've started learning computer science this year. Tomorrow will be my first exam.
To be honest, I haven't learned as much as I should of.
Lot's of reasons for that, but no excuses, I made a mistake.

Hope I will pass, of I will have to do this again.

Knowledge managment

Hey all,
I've been asked to do a presentation about what's new in my team.
I had an idea to what the context should be, but didn't really know the title.
I believe title is everything. presentation should sell, and people remember the title.
After a lot of thinking I found what I was looking for: "Knowledge managing with SharePoint 2007".

One of the slides talk about Web 2.0. The newest Buzzword.
Now I have to explain what web 2.0 is. So lately I've been doing a lot of reading about the subject. To say the true, I don't really know how to explain it.
It's about sharing and the community of the people, but because this subject is so abstract, I can't find the words.

This is Teddy - Don't believe his lies

I learned a hard lesson this week. Don't believe the end users!
I know they are the costumers, but they tend to be stupid!

I think I met their leader, King stupid. He called to show me a problem.
I'm sorry but I can't talk about the specifics at this moment.
He was very rude actually.

After about a half a day's work, I came to see the real problem:
He was an idiot. no problem with anything but that.

I know all of this looks rather meaningless but it's probably the best I can do.

BTW - if you don't know the quote from the title , it's from Memento.

Anyway, I'll try to relax or something.

Blue movie - not what you'd think...

Like most organizations I know, At my work place we keep an information system that
should have been gone a long time ago.
I am the lucky one to be in charge of it. Of course I haven't a clue about solving any kind of
problems with it like the good sysadmin should have.
Early this morning I got a phone call from one of our Help Desk guys saying something is not
right with it. I soon learned about a Blue screen. not funny at all.

At the moment I saw the blue screen I started thinking of the worst case scenario, Installing a system witch I obviously can't.
To my help I called an IT specialist (a great technical man) who fixed my server with a magic CD.
System was up again and my hart rate down.

Hello, My name is Amir.
a bit about myself.

I am 22. In my life I have two big passions... music & computer.
In the music world I am a singer and composer. I also play the piano, sax and clarinet.
In the computer world I am considered a new player. after finishing high school on a computer program, I started my work with computers. Today I am a system administrator of a SharePoint system.

To be totally sincere, I really don't know what I am about to write here.
This blog is just an experiment. Hope you would enjoy it.
